San Ysidro Ranch Site Visit

A visit to San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, offered an unforgettable luxury experience nestled in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains. Photographing a wedding at this magical place is absolutely on my bucket list. I was absolutely floored when I arrived. Everything was so lush and vibrant, even in the thick of the summer in August!

I will always be partial to Bougainvillea!

This iconic resort is renowned for its charming blend of natural beauty, historic charm, and exclusive privacy. Guests are welcomed by beautifully manicured gardens, lavender-scented walkways, and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and mountains. The resort’s accommodations, including private cottages, are a perfect mix of rustic elegance and modern luxury, featuring cozy fireplaces, outdoor hot tubs, and plush bedding.

As simple and sweet as it is, this little entry way leading into the restaurant of San Ysidro, is one of my favorite little spots. Everything from the light it gets to the unfussy yet rich decor makes me want to stop there and have a glass of wine with a friend while we watch the sun set.

Visitors to San Ysidro Ranch can indulge in world-class dining at the Stonehouse Restaurant, which offers locally sourced, farm-to-table cuisine. Whether you’re relaxing at the spa or exploring nearby Santa Barbara wine country, this idyllic retreat is perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape. The Ranch is also known for its historical significance, having hosted numerous celebrities and even serving as the honeymoon spot for John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy. Surrounded by nature, with hiking trails and stunning vistas at every turn, a stay at San Ysidro Ranch promises a serene and rejuvenating escape in the heart of Southern California.
